There are solar panels, 2 @ 65 watts each. As long as there is sun and/or wind, we have plenty of power. The rainy, and windless days can be tough, and then we do sometimes run the diesel for power. But I can count on one hand the number of times we had to do that this summer. It was a very windy summer for the most part and the wind generator really came through for us.

Do you stop in the middle of nowhere and drift while you sleep or do you make plans to anchor at night in a cove or a bay? Do you have an alarm to wake you up if a boat approaches?
